The Forum of Executive Women stands in solidarity with the Black community and all those who have been impacted by racial violence, injustice and marginalization for far too long. We mourn George Floyd’s tragic death and remember the countless other valuable lives lost to prejudice, brutality and injustice.
We join the chorus of voices fighting for justice and working for a world that strives for and achieves racial equality. We are committed to work together to support the Black community and reach peaceful solutions and overcome the divisive challenges we are facing in the Philadelphia region and as a nation.
For the past 43 years, The Forum of Executive Women has used the collective power of women’s leadership to drive positive change in our region. Together, we, as female leaders in our community, can and must build on this foundation and continue to play a significant role in advocating for change and working to improve our communities. Now more than ever, women leaders must work together to bring change, fight for justice, insist on equity and support one another.
These are difficult and painful times and our community is suffering. As an organization, we are committed to fight bias and celebrate diversity, equity and inclusion.
