Kapila Anand (Chicago) - Kapila Anand is KPMG’s National Partner-in-Charge of Public Policy Business Initiatives and is responsible for coordinating the U.S. Firm’s response to Public Policy changes that impact the Firm and its clients. She is also a partner in KPMG’s Advisory Services practice with more than 30 years of experience with KPMG serving a diverse group of real estate, private equity and hospitality clients. She has authored several of the Firm’s tools and templates and has served as a national training and forum instructor. Kapila has served on the Board of the Franciscan Ministries and as the chair for the KPMG Foundation. She currently serves on KPMG LLP Boards in the U.S. and the Americas.

Carolyn Byrd (Georgia) – Carolyn Byrd is currently CEO of GlobalTech Financial, a business process outsourcing company. Prior to founding GlobalTech Financial, Carolyn was President of Coco-Cola Financial Corporation and has held other senior executive positions at the company. Current board service includes Freddie Mac and AFC Enterprises. Carolyn has also served on the board of St. Paul Travelers, ING Americas, Teachers Retirement System of Georgia, and as a member of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta Advisory Board.

Michael Eskew (Illinois) – Michael Eskew is the retired chairman and CEO of UPS and continues to serve on the company’s board of directors in addition to the boards of 3M Corporation, IBM and Eli Lilly.

Gail Evans (Georgia) – Gail Evans is author of the “Play Like a Man, Win Like a Woman” and hosts the weekly CNN radio segment “It’s Not Just a Man’s World“. In addition to her speaking and teaching engagements advocating diversity, Gail serves on numerous charitable boards including Radio and Television News Directors Foundation, Society for Women’s Health Research, Ga. State University Law School, and Breman Jewish Heritage Museum. Gail worked at the White House in the Office of the Special Counsel to the President during the Lyndon B. Johnson Administration.

Virginia Gambale (New York) – Virginia Gambale is founder and managing partner of Azimuth Partners, a management consulting firm. Virginia has served on over 20 public and private boards. She currently serves on the boards of Jet Blue and three private companies (Knoa, Kurtosys Ltd., and 29 West). Virginia is a frequent guest lecturer at Columbia University and the CIO Institute.

Joseph F. Keefe (Massachusetts) – Joseph F. Keefe is President and Chief Executive Officer of Pax World Funds, which launched the nation’s first socially responsible mutual fund in 1971 and currently manages approximately $2.5 billion in mutual funds, ETFs and separate accounts that follow a sustainable investing approach – fully integrating environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors into investment analysis and decision making. One of Pax World’s funds, the Global Women’s Equality Fund, is the only mutual fund in the United States that focuses on investing in companies that are global leaders in promoting gender equality and women’s advancement. Joe is also the incoming Chair of the Board of Women Thrive Worldwide, an organization advocating for shaping U.S. development assistance and trade policy to benefit women and girls across the globe, and was named by Ethisphere Magazine as one of the “100 Most Influential People in Business Ethics” for 2007 and 2008.

T.K. Kerstetter (Tennessee) – T.K. Kerstetter is the CEO of Board Member, Inc., a privately held publishing, database, research, and conference company focused on corporate Board issues and governance trends. He is the publisher of Corporate Board Member and Bank Director magazines.

Blythe McGarvie (Virginia) – A former EVP and CFO of the Bic Group, Blythe McGarvie currently serves on the boards of Accenture, Viacom, Pepsi Bottling, and Travelers. In September 2008, Blythe was named to Directorship magazine’s list of the “100 most influential people on corporate governance and in the boardroom.”

Kathi P. Seifert (Wisconsin) – Ms. Seifert retired as EVP for the Kimberly-Clark Corporation after 26 years at the company. Most recently, Kathi led the team that develops and manages global plans for branding and product positioning, programs and capital investment for personal care products. In addition, she oversaw the company’s U.S. and Canadian consumer sales forces. Recently named to Fortune magazine’s list of the 50 Most Powerful Women in Business, Kathi also was named to Forbes.com’s annual “America’s Top Businesswomen” list. She is a member of the board of directors of Supervalu, Eli Lilly and Company, Revlon Consumer Products Corporation, Appleton Papers, Lexmark, Inc., the National Board of the U.S. Fund for UNICEF, and the Fox Cities Performing Arts Center. Kathi also is co-chair of the New North, Inc., an economic development collaboration for Northeastern Wisconsin.

Judith von Seldeneck (Pennsylvania) – Judith von Seldeneck is chairman and CEO of Diversified Search Ray & Berndtson, a retained search firm initially formed to place women in executive positions. Business Week named Judith as one of the “World’s Most Influential Headhunters.” Judith serves on the boards of Citizens Bank of Pennsylvania, Teleflex Incorporated and the Greater Philadelphia Chamber of Commerce.
